About K | Couture
I have always loved fashion. My father runs and owns Formal Fashions, the leading outfitter for music group formalwear nationwide, so I grew up in the industry. At a very young age I was shadowing him around, learning the ins and outs of the business, and developing a passion for the fashion industry. From creating new design styles to designing their annual catalog and learning to provide exceptional customer service, I could only dream that my “lifelong internship” would transform into my own company!
The idea for K Couture started when I was planning my own wedding and picking out dresses for my bridesmaids turned out to be so difficult! My bridesmaids all had different needs, from higher necklines to covered shoulders and a range of sizes, so finding dresses for all of them was harder than expected. I immediately saw a need in the industry for customizable and affordable bridesmaid dresses, and with this idea I started K Couture in 2012. Today, K Couture uses only high-quality fabrics and embellishments to create a beautiful collection of unique styles enabling customers to mix and match necklines, sleeves and materials.
In an industry filled with large companies and online re-sellers who only see you as dollar amount, I’m proud to bring K Couture into the picture. One of the things that really separates K Couture from other companies out there, is our incredible team. Everyone who works for K Couture not only has a passion for fashion, but a passion for people as well. From our stylists, production, sewing, and customer service teams, we all want to help you find the perfect formal wear attire, no matter how specific your needs are!
Another important aspect that makes us different is that we design and create our own dresses in house at our 22,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. There are so many benefits to manufacturing our own products, like fast turn-around, lower prices, improved quality control, and most of all, the ability to completely customize any dress. Our design your own dress tool allows you to mix and match to design your custom dress, but if you need something even more custom, call us! We love working closely with our customers to create the dress of your dreams. We will do any and all that we can to help you create that perfect dress, from using your own fabric that you send to us, to adjusting the pattern to fit you perfectly. I know first-hand the stress and chaos of planning a wedding and I want to help to make finding the bridesmaid dresses as easy as possible!
As K Couture grew, we also started carrying menswear which was really exciting! The other challenge I faced when picking out bridesmaid dresses for my wedding was finding menswear to match. Since we create our own dresses and much of our menswear in house, it can all be made of the exact same material so it will match perfectly! This would have been a life-saver when I was planning my wedding, and I hope it’s a life-saver for you too!
